Emotionally.in, its employees, its affiliates and it’s therapists, coaches, counsellors and healers (jointly addressed as Providers) strictly adhere to this Privacy Policy and the security practices and procedures described below to ensure the confidentiality of customer information. It is Emotionally.in’s policy to comply with all relevant laws and regulations relating to the privacy of our customers’ private information (PI) and private health information (PHI).

If you are coming to the site through an employer or insurer payor such as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) then there is additional information collected by these Parties. This information is typically collected to confirm your eligibility with the EAP or network benefit administrator and is not shared with your Provider (who will collect your contact information separately). Further, your Employer or the Employer of the subscriber of your benefits will not be provided this information (you likely already gave them similar information in your employee file unless you are a family member of an eligible employee).

Except as permitted by law or as otherwise described below, Emotionally.in does not disclose any PI/PHI about its customers, or former customers, or employees, to anyone. Emotionally.in does not sell lists or customer information.

Emotionally.in collects, retains, and uses PI/PHI from customers to include the following:

We use your email ID to answer the email we receive. Your email information is not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties
"Public Information" which means the information you choose to make public, as well as information that is always publicly available.
Information posted to a group chat or moderated group session and information kept within a one on one session.
“Contact Information” is personal information and or family/friend/relation that Emotionally.in stores confidentially for your Therapist to access in case of an emergency or mental health crisis.
Financial information for billing purposes; such as account # and routing information for invoicing purposes.

Information Emotionally.in Collects for Employees, Providers, Affiliates and Contractors

Emotionally.in collects only relevant information pertaining to employment, appointment, selection and establishment of business relationship. All the PI and Business Information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Sharing of Information

We keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies or during an emergency circumstance as judged by your Provider working with local authorities). When we use third parties to process your information (for example as credit card payment providers) we require these third parties to comply strictly with its instructions and we require that they not use your personal information for their own business purposes.

The Uses of the Collected Data by Emotionally.in

Emotionally.in uses non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Web site and to use in research and trend analysis. We do not use your individual information.

Emotionally.in uses non-identifying and aggregate information about responses to the clinical outcome assessments (personal assessments), and the frequency of the utilization of the Emotionally.in service.

The anonymous and aggregated data also may be published through various media platforms/academic journals.

Emotionally.in may allow service providers to access information such as location services, site navigation information, Search Engine information etc to improve our services.

Emotionally.in uses Industry standard encryption for protecting data, For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos you specifically grant Emotionally.in.in a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty- free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Emotionally.in.com (IP License). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it. This does NOT apply to photos, images or other videos shared ONLY with your Provider.

When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).

Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not share non-public personal information about our customers (present, former and potential) with anyone, except as required by law, or as follows:

To any person when you authorize such disclosure;
To computer services consultants and technicians or other security consultants, in order to ensure the confidentiality and security of customer & employee records;
To financial service providers or consultants to carry out requested services, and/or to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud, unauthorized transactions, claims, or other liability;

Copyrights, Intellectual Property, Trade Marks

Neither Emotionally.innor the User will use any materials whatsoever which has a Copyright, is an Intellectual Property or is a Trade Mark without taking appropriate authorisation.

Recording of Video or Audio Sessions or Screen Shots

Neither You nor the Provider can record a Video or Audio session or take screen shot or download material etc without specific permission from either party. Such unauthorised behaviour will be treated per locally applicable laws.

Case Notes

For providing better service the Provider may keep case notes of the treatment. However, the Provider is under no obligation to share the Case Notes with You. The Provider may share Case notes with another Expert for improvement of treatment or handover the case notes to another Emotionally.in Provider for continuation of Service or an external Provider who has been appointed by You. Case Notes can be handed over to appropriate authorities within the framework of local laws.

Privacy Disputes

You will resolve any claim, cause of action or dispute (claim) you have with us arising out of or relating to this Statement or Emotionally.in.in exclusively in a state of Maharashtra, India. If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions, content or information on Emotionally.in.in or Emotionally.in, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim.

Social Networks

Emotionally.in does not use any Individual or Private data on Social Media or Social Networks. Twitter is managed by Twitter, a company that complies with the “Safe Harbor” Privacy Policy Framework initiative, guaranteeing the handling of Personal Information.
